At SPNG we structure our training sessions to maximize game-realistic activities, where players independent decision-making is encouraged, to self-discover and solve tactical soccer problems on the pitch.
In order to increase the learning process of our players, we utilize in-class room training, where we provide visuals and emphasize the objective and principles of the training session.
SPNG is designed for young ambitious talents wanting to elevate their careers to the next level. Our goal is to help develop players by providing a high professional training environment and international soccer experiences. On the pitch we desire to present a fun, engaging and innovative training program that will help players succeed in all aspects of their development (tactical, technical, psychosocial and physical).
Through our vast network, ranging from pro to semipro teams in Europe, we provide our elite players with an outlet to travel overseas, train and compete against Europe's elite academies.
Players will experience what the competition at the top level looks like, which offers them a true evaluation of where they are currently at in their own developmental process.
Throughout the year, we offer supplemental training for our academy, outside of players' club environment.
To be integrated into our academy program we host additional camps & clinics, where players have the chance to be fully assed and identified by our coaching staff.
SPNG Coaching Staff
SPNG Academy is ran by program Director, Paddy Hoepp, with the assistance of SPNG technical coach, Jonah NunoSheldon. These two coaches have a rich playing and coaching history at the youth club level, with Paddy growing up in the German youth club system and Jonah being from the Chicagoland area, both bring a variety of experience between the two. As of 2020, both coach Paddy and Jonah are coaching at the collegiate level for their respected programs. Between the two of them, they have helped both men and women players go on to the college playing level, and SPNG is grateful to have them on staff.
